FDA and A.P. Deauville Recall Over 67,000 Power Stick Roll-On Antiperspirants

The recall responds to deviations from federal manufacturing standards identified at the Easton, Pennsylvania plant

Overview

  • The FDA published a compliance report on July 18 flagging lapses in current Good Manufacturing Practices at A.P. Deauville’s Easton facility
  • Three 1.8-ounce roll-on variants—Power Stick for Her Powder Fresh, Invisible Protection Spring Fresh and Original Nourishing Invisible Protection—are included in the voluntary withdrawal covering 67,214 boxes
  • Affected products were shipped nationwide through Walmart, Dollar Tree and Amazon and are listed by specific lot numbers on FDA and company websites
  • Consumers with any of the recalled lot numbers should stop use immediately and contact A.P. Deauville for a refund, replacement or safe disposal instructions
  • No adverse health incidents have been reported to date, though regulators caution that the manufacturing irregularities could pose long-term safety risks
