The Nintendo Switch 2, designated as BEE-001 in FCC filings, is expected to feature NFC technology, potentially supporting existing Amiibo functionality.
The filings confirm the console will include two USB-C ports, one on the top and one on the bottom, both capable of charging the device.
The Switch 2 will support Wi-Fi 6, offering faster download speeds compared to the original Switch's Wi-Fi 5 capabilities.
NFC technology for the Switch 2 is reportedly integrated into the right Joy-Con, consistent with its predecessor's design.
Nintendo has not yet officially confirmed these features, but the Switch 2 is slated for further details during an April Direct presentation.
