FC Barcelona Sign Experienced Midfielder Oriol Romeu From Girona

FC Barcelona announced the signing of 31-year-old defensive midfielder Oriol Romeu from Girona for a €4.5 million transfer fee.
Romeu returns to Barcelona after previously being in the La Masia academy and making two appearances for the first team in 2010/11.
He has since played for Chelsea, Valencia, Stuttgart and Southampton before joining Girona last season.
Romeu is familiar with Barcelona's style of play from his previous time with the club.
The signing adds experience and depth to Barcelona's midfield.
