FBI-Wanted Drug Kingpin Shehnaz Singh Arrested in Punjab

Punjab Police captured Shehnaz Singh, a major figure in a global narcotics syndicate, following a U.S. crackdown on his associates.

Shehnaz Singh, also known as Shawn Bhinder, was arrested in Punjab's Tarn Taran district by the Punjab Police in a coordinated operation.
Singh is a key player in an international drug trafficking network that smuggled cocaine from Colombia into the United States and Canada.
His arrest follows a February 26 operation in the U.S. where four of his associates were detained, leading to the seizure of 391 kg of methamphetamine, 109 kg of cocaine, and firearms.
After the U.S. crackdown, Singh fled to India, where he was tracked and apprehended by Punjab Police.
The arrest is part of Punjab's ongoing 'Yudh Nashian Virudh' anti-drug campaign, aimed at eradicating drug trafficking in the state.
