  • Shehnaz Singh, also known as Shawn Bhinder, was arrested in Punjab's Tarn Taran district by the Punjab Police in a coordinated operation.
  • Singh is a key player in an international drug trafficking network that smuggled cocaine from Colombia into the United States and Canada.
  • His arrest follows a February 26 operation in the U.S. where four of his associates were detained, leading to the seizure of 391 kg of methamphetamine, 109 kg of cocaine, and firearms.
  • After the U.S. crackdown, Singh fled to India, where he was tracked and apprehended by Punjab Police.
