Overview

• The first robbery occurred at about 9:30 a.m. on June 2 at the Huntington Bank branch at 1400 West Fullerton Avenue in Lincoln Park, and the second unfolded around noon at the Fifth Third Bank at 5918 North Broadway in Edgewater.
• In both incidents, the suspect displayed a handgun, demanded money and fled on foot with no injuries reported.
• Authorities describe the suspect as wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with facial covering, dark pants, dark shoes with white soles and carrying a red drawstring backpack.
• The FBI has announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest and conviction.
