FBI Investigating Mysterious Fall of Cruise Passenger Missing at Sea

The FBI is looking into the death of a Carnival cruise passenger who fell overboard on his first cruise during a trip from the Bahamas to Virginia.
The passenger, Ronnie Lee Peale Jr., was reported missing by his fiancée and last seen on security footage leaning over the railing of his balcony and dropping into the water.
The U.S. Coast Guard searched over 5,000 square miles for 60 hours before suspending rescue efforts.
The Carnival Magic cruise ship was carrying nearly 4,000 passengers and crew at the time of the incident and continued on to port in Norfolk, Virginia.
Friends and family of the 35-year-old Peale Jr. are mourning the loss of a man described as a "social butterfly."
