Overview

  • FBI Director Kash Patel said agents worked with Indian authorities and INTERPOL to arrest Rodriguez-Singh in India and transport her back to the United States.
  • She will be turned over to Texas authorities and faces state charges of capital murder of a person under 10 and a federal count of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
  • An INTERPOL Red Notice was issued in October 2024, and the FBI added her to its Ten Most Wanted list in July with a reward increased to $250,000.
  • Investigators say she left the U.S. on March 22, 2023 with her husband and six other children, two days after a welfare check during which she allegedly lied about Noel’s whereabouts; Noel did not board that flight.
  • Noel has not been found and is presumed dead, and officials have not disclosed details about when or where the arrest in India occurred.
