FBI Agent Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges Involving Two Women

Eduardo Valdivia, previously acquitted in a 2020 Metro train shooting, faces multiple charges for alleged assaults in Maryland earlier this year.

Eduardo Valdivia, a 40-year-old FBI agent, has been charged with two counts of second-degree rape and other offenses related to alleged attacks in May and September 2024.
Police allege Valdivia lured victims through social media with offers of free tattoos and modeling contracts, later using threats to coerce them.
Valdivia has been suspended from the FBI pending the outcome of the investigation and is currently being held without bond in Montgomery County, Maryland.
The Montgomery County Police believe there may be additional victims and have urged them to come forward during a scheduled press conference.
This arrest comes nearly two years after Valdivia was acquitted of attempted murder in a high-profile 2020 off-duty shooting on a Washington, D.C., Metro train.
