- PCB confirmed a 15-player squad led by Fatima Sana with Muneeba Ali Siddiqui as vice-captain for the Sept. 30–Nov. 2 tournament in India and Sri Lanka.
- Uncapped batter Eyman Fatima was selected, joining six others set for maiden ODI World Cup appearances including Natalia Parvaiz and Syeda Aroob Shah.
- Eyman Fatima and Sadaf Shamas replaced Gull Feroza and Najiha Alvi from the qualifier squad; the non-travelling reserves are Feroza, Alvi, Tuba Hassan, Umm-e-Hani and Waheeda Akhtar.
- A 14-day pre-series camp begins Aug. 29 under coach Muhammad Wasim, followed by a three-match ODI series against South Africa in Lahore from Sept. 16–22.
- Pakistan will play all group-stage games at Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium, opening Oct. 2 vs Bangladesh before facing India on Oct. 5, with potential knockouts also slated for Colombo and Navi Mumbai.
