Father, Stepmother, and Uncle of Sara Sharif Plead Not Guilty to Murder

The three accused left the UK for Pakistan a day before the 10-year-old's body was found and were arrested upon their return.

Sara Sharif, a 10-year-old girl, was found dead in her home in Woking, UK on August 10.
Her father, Urfan Sharif, stepmother, Beinash Batool, and uncle, Faisal Malik, have all pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and causing or allowing the death of a child.
The three accused left the UK for Islamabad, Pakistan, a day before Sara's body was discovered and were arrested upon their return to the UK on September 13.
A post-mortem examination found Sara had sustained multiple and extensive injuries before her death, indicating multiple events of violence.
The trial is scheduled for September 2024.
