  • Julian LeFay passed away on July 22 after a battle with terminal cancer, a loss confirmed by colleagues at OnceLost Games on July 23.
  • He co-founded OnceLost Games in 2019 alongside former Bethesda developers Ted Peterson and Vijay Lakshman to develop the crowdfunded RPG The Wayward Realms.
  • LeFay earned his reputation as the ‘Father of The Elder Scrolls’ through his lead roles on Arena and Daggerfall and inspired the series’ in-game deity Julianos.
  • Even after his cancer diagnosis became terminal, he continued mentoring the development team and shaping every aspect of The Wayward Realms.
  • The Wayward Realms raised over $800,000 on Kickstarter and will move forward under LeFay’s detailed vision to honour his legacy.
