Overview
- At around 10:30am on May 31 a car and four motorcycles collided on the A36 near Heytesbury south of Warminster.
- A motorcyclist in his 60s died at the scene and three other riders remain hospitalized with serious injuries.
- Firefighters, paramedics and an air ambulance crew attended the crash site as Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service and South West Ambulance Service managed the response.
- The A36 remained closed for several hours and reopened in the early hours of June 1 after emergency crews handed the scene over to Wiltshire Police.
- Wiltshire Police have launched a Serious Collision Investigation and are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage to assist their inquiries.
