Fatal Motorcycle-Car Collision Shuts Down Highway 1 in Langley, B.C.

The crash, which occurred early Thursday morning, resulted in the death of the motorcycle rider and closed the highway for hours.

The collision occurred at approximately 4:20 a.m. near 240 Street on Highway 1.
Both the car and motorcycle were traveling eastbound when they collided.
The motorcycle rider succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Highway 1 was closed for around 11 hours for investigation, affecting eastbound lanes between 232 and 264 streets.
RCMP are seeking witnesses or dash-camera footage to assist in their investigation.
