Overview

• A fire broke out shortly after midnight on July 18 in a ground-floor apartment of the newly built multi-family building on Ederstraße in Bochum’s Grumme district.
• Feuerwehr Bochum teams extinguished the blaze by around 00:20 and an emergency doctor confirmed one resident’s death at the scene.
