Fatal Explosion Rocks Alloa Flats, Leaves One Dead and Three Injured

Emergency services respond to a major incident in Clackmannanshire, Scotland, as investigations continue into the cause of the deadly blast.

An explosion at a block of flats in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, resulted in the death of one man, who has not yet been identified.
Three other residents, including a 72-year-old man, a 19-year-old man, and a 49-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries and were treated at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
The blast, which occurred around 6 PM on Sunday, severely damaged the building, ripping off part of the roof and leaving a large hole in the first floor.
Emergency services, including fire crews and gas engineers, responded with a significant multi-agency effort, closing surrounding roads and setting up a rest center at Alloa Town Hall.
Police and fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the explosion, with continued support from local authorities and the community.
