Event Honors Established and Emerging Talents, Breaks Barriers with Historic Wins

London's Fashion Awards celebrated both established and emerging talents in the industry, with notable winners including Jonathan Anderson, Charlotte Tilbury, Martine Rose, and Maximilian Davis.
Valentino Garavani received the Outstanding Achievement Award, with his business partner Giancarlo Giammetti pledging 200,000 pounds for British fashion students during the acceptance speech.
Sarah Burton, former creative director of Alexander McQueen, was honored with a Special Recognition Award, presented by Edward Enninful, British Vogue’s outgoing editor in chief.
Paloma Elsesser became the first curve model to be named Model of the Year, and Maximilian Davis became the first Black designer to win designer of the year in any category.
The event also paid tribute to the late designer Joe Casely-Hayford with a new scholarship for students with a Black or mixed heritage.
