Overview
- Tonin Pjetri, 65, was arraigned on first-degree murder and felony firearm charges in the Nov. 16 fatal shooting of Francesk “Franco” Shkambi.
- A judge denied bond, with a probable cause conference set for Dec. 3 and a preliminary examination scheduled for Dec. 10.
- The shooting occurred around 9:38 p.m. at 8635 Cooley Lake Road, where a witness found Shkambi on the patio and allegedly saw Pjetri with a gun.
- Prosecutors say Pjetri left the scene in a black SUV and turned himself in to Farmington Hills police a short time later.
- Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said the killing appears to have stemmed from a personal disagreement, and Pjetri faces life without parole if convicted.
