FX has released the official trailer for 'Fargo' Season 5, starring Juno Temple and Jon Hamm. The series returns on November 21 with Temple playing Dorothy 'Dot' Lyon, a housewife hiding a secret past.
Jon Hamm portrays North Dakota Sheriff Roy Tillman, who has been searching for Dot for a long time and believes he is above the law. His feckless son, Gator, played by Stranger Things’ Joe Keery, aids him in hunting for Dot.
The series is set in Minnesota and North Dakota in 2019. Dot Lyon's seemingly peaceful life is disrupted when her secret past is uncovered and she attracts the attention of the authorities, including the local police department and her mother-in-law, portrayed by Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Dot seeks to protect her family from her past, but her well-meaning husband, Wayne, played by David Rysdahl, turns to his mother, Lorraine Lyon (Leigh), also known as the 'Queen of Debt' and CEO of the largest Debt Collection Agency in the country, for help.
Despite the challenges Dot faces from her opponents, including her disapproving mother-in-law, law enforcement, and a shadowy drifter enlisted by Sheriff Tillman, she shows a remarkable knack for survival.
