Nick Fuentes, a 26-year-old far-right activist, has been charged with misdemeanor battery after allegedly pepper-spraying and pushing Marla Rose, 57, outside his home in Berwyn, Illinois.
The incident occurred on November 10 when Rose approached Fuentes' home to record a video after his viral post stating 'Your body, my choice. Forever,' in reference to abortion rights following Donald Trump's election victory.
Rose claims Fuentes sprayed her in the face, pushed her down concrete steps, and took her phone, which police later retrieved; Fuentes has denied wrongdoing, citing fears for his safety due to online threats and doxxing.
Fuentes was arrested on November 27, booked, and released the same day; his first court appearance is scheduled for December 19 in Cook County.
The incident has drawn renewed attention to Fuentes' history of white nationalist and misogynistic rhetoric, including his past association with Donald Trump and other far-right figures.
