Far-Right Extremist Found Guilty of Planning Terrorist Attack at London Law Firm

Cavan Medlock aimed to target a lawyer representing asylum seekers, intending to intimidate immigrants and inspire other far-right extremists.

Cavan Medlock, a 32-year-old self-identified Nazi, was found guilty of making threats to kill and preparing terrorist acts at Kingston Crown Court.
Medlock attempted to attack solicitor Toufique Hossain at Duncan Lewis law firm in Harrow, London, in September 2020, armed with a knife and carrying far-right paraphernalia.
The attack was thwarted by a receptionist who disarmed Medlock despite being physically attacked, with assistance from other staff members.
Police investigations revealed Medlock had planned the attack after reading an article quoting Hossain and researching the law firm's location.
Authorities stated Medlock aimed to intimidate immigrants and inspire other extreme right-wing terrorists, with evidence of his ideology found at his home, including a copy of 'Mein Kampf.'
