Overview

  • The film opened to $118 million across 4,125 North American theatres and $100 million in 52 overseas markets, according to studio estimates.
  • It is Marvel Studios’ first Fantastic Four feature under Kevin Feige and Disney, kicking off Phase Six as a standalone “no-homework-required” entry.
  • Early exit polls show an A– CinemaScore, robust PostTrak responses, and a 93 percent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
  • Within its opening weekend, the film has already outgrossed the entire domestic runs of the 2015 Fantastic Four reboot and 2011’s Green Lantern.
  • In India, the movie netted Rs 5.25 crore on opening day and grew 40 percent to Rs 7.35 crore on Saturday, bringing its two-day total to Rs 12.60 crore.
