Fans Report Visible Wear at Disney’s Pandora as Coverage Widens

Overview

• Inside the Magic and DisneyFanatic published reports on Sept. 16 citing social media posts that describe deteriorating theming in Pandora – The World of Avatar.
• A widely shared post from Mickey Central detailed drooping artificial plants, formerly pink foliage now brown, and water that appeared green and stagnant.
• Reporters and fans point to Florida’s intense sun, humidity, and heavy use as likely factors in the fading plants and water features.
• Disney has not issued a statement or announced a refurbishment for the land, though outlets note the company routinely schedules park maintenance.
• Despite the concerns, Pandora remains a major draw, led by Avatar Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey, keeping attention on upkeep.
