• Video obtained by Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra shows agents holding the child outside while telling her father to present identification.
• In the recording, an agent says, “Is that your daughter? Come here so I can see those IDs,” as the mother says the girl is 5 and on the autism spectrum.
• Leominster police arrived, recovered the child, and returned her to the family after the mother reported harassment and said agents threatened to force entry within 15 minutes.
• Two days after the incident, federal agents arrested the father, Edward Hip, who is now held at an ICE detention center in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
• The family and a neighbor, Lizeth Román, are seeking an investigation into the agents’ conduct, and ICE has not responded to media requests for comment.
