• Amy Blanc Lacy, 62, died on Sept. 5 after being critically injured in a Sept. 1 collision in Atlanta while riding in a Prius with her sons.
• Buck Rollins, 31, surrendered to police and was charged with first-degree vehicular homicide, hit-and-run, reckless driving and speeding before being released on a $70,000 bond.
• An arrest affidavit says Rollins was traveling about 90–91 mph in a 45 mph zone, hit a curb, went airborne and struck the Prius on the driver’s side.
• Surveillance video allegedly shows Rollins removing golf clubs from his car and walking away; he later told investigators he suffered a seizure and walked home.
• Airbag control module data indicates he lifted off the accelerator and began braking 2.5 seconds before impact; Lacy’s family held a Sept. 10 eco-burial and has thanked donors supporting their GoFundMe.
