Seven Months After His Death, Williams' Family Honors His Legacy and Continues to Grapple with His Sudden Passing

Treat Williams, known for his roles in Everwood, Hair and 127 Hours, died in a motorcycle accident in Dorset, Vermont on June 12, 2023 at age 71.
His wife, Pam Van Sant, and their two adult children, Gill and Ellie, are still mourning his loss and grappling with his sudden death.
Ellie and Gill, both artists, credit their father for inspiring their interests in the arts. Ellie is pursuing an acting career in Los Angeles, and Gill is working on his first album.
Williams was also a pilot and often took his family and friends on flights. His family is now taking flying lessons to honor his love for flying.
The driver accused of causing the crash that killed Williams, Ryan Koss, pleaded not guilty and could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
