Family Guy to Return to Adult Swim in 2025 After Three-Year Absence

The animated series will rejoin Adult Swim with a New Year's marathon and nightly reruns, marking a homecoming to the network that helped revive it.

Adult Swim has secured non-exclusive rights to air reruns of Family Guy, starting January 1, 2025, with a three-day marathon running from 7 PM to 5 AM ET/PT.
After the marathon, episodes will air nightly on Adult Swim from 10:00 PM to 11:30 PM ET/PT as part of the network's regular programming lineup.
Family Guy originally aired on Adult Swim from 2003 to 2021, where its reruns played a significant role in reviving the series after Fox had canceled it twice in its early years.
The new agreement allows Family Guy reruns to continue airing on other networks like FXX and Comedy Central, while Hulu remains the exclusive streaming platform for the show.
The series, now in its 23rd season, continues to produce new episodes for Fox and recently released holiday specials exclusively on Hulu.
