- Officials and staff on the islands say plaques at RAF Mount Pleasant, Stanley’s Infant Junior School and New Island’s field centre have been taken down.

- Andrew served as a Sea King helicopter co-pilot during the 1982 conflict and retains the South Atlantic Medal, which has not been withdrawn.
