Fairleigh Dickinson University's men's basketball team, after a historic win over Purdue in the NCAA Tournament, has raised over $500,000 from donors, enabling the construction of a new locker room and film room.
The team previously had to watch game film in a community shower due to space limitations, a situation that has now been rectified with the new facilities.
The upset victory over Purdue has had significant positive impacts on the university, including a 32% increase in undergraduate applications, a 327% rise in online apparel sales, and a 48% attendance boost at a recent open house for prospective students.
The school has also signed a deal with YES Network to broadcast games, further increasing its visibility and reach.
The new facilities will be unveiled before the team's game against Saint Peter's.
