Fairground Ride Crash in Birmingham Injures 13, Two Arrested

Two women were taken to the hospital with injuries that are not believed to be serious, while 11 others were treated and discharged at the scene.
Two men, aged 55 and 21, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and obstructing officers, and they remain in custody.
Witnesses described scenes of terror, with riders screaming as the ride plummeted and gondolas became tangled in wires.
Authorities, including the Health and Safety Executive, are investigating the incident, and the area remains cordoned off as specialists examine the site.
