Fact-Checkers Debunk Altered Video Claiming Anti-Biden Chant at Army-Navy Game

An altered video from the December 9, 2023, Army-Navy football game that appears to show the crowd chanting a vulgar phrase against President Joe Biden has been debunked by multiple fact-checking organizations.
The original video shows the crowd, including a large contingent of Army cadets, singing and bouncing to an EDM song often played at Army football games and other sporting events.
The video was edited to add the chant, which actually occurred at a concert in 2021.
The false claim has been widely shared on social media, with one tweet that shared the edited footage receiving approximately 37,000 likes and 11,000 shares as of Monday.
Similar anti-Biden chants have been added to other footage of Biden, including his appearance at the University of Pennsylvania’s commencement in May and multiple videos of his speeches.
