- In the coming months every new video posted on Facebook will automatically appear as a reel
- The update removes existing length and format limits to accommodate both horizontal and long-form clips
- Facebook is renaming its Video tab to Reels tab to align navigation with the new format and retain personalized recommendations
- Default privacy settings for Feed videos and reels are unified and users are prompted to confirm their audience when posting reels
- All existing video content will remain unchanged on profiles and Pages during the gradual global rollout
