The directive comes after a LATAM Airlines flight experienced a sudden drop, injuring 50 passengers.
Four additional reports of similar issues have been submitted by Boeing, with the latest in June 2024.
The inspections will affect 158 U.S.-registered planes and 737 worldwide.
