FA Relaxes International Transfer Rules for English Clubs

The Football Association has created new criteria allowing Premier League and Championship clubs to sign up to four international players who previously did not meet the requirements.
League One and League Two teams can now sign up to two international players who did not previously fit the criteria.
The change is aimed at giving clubs more access to international talent and encouraging opportunities for English players.
The new rules take effect with the opening of the summer transfer window.
The FA hopes the revised policy will benefit both domestic and international players in English football leagues.
