F1 Teams Pull 2026 Launches Forward as Haas Moves Reveal to Jan. 19

Teams have front-loaded reveals to maximize preparation under sweeping 2026 rules.

Overview

  • Red Bull and Racing Bulls open the slate in Detroit on Jan. 15 with Ford, followed by Haas on Jan. 19 and Ferrari and Alpine on Jan. 23.
  • Pre-season running expands to 11 days with a closed Barcelona shakedown on Jan. 26–30 before two three-day Bahrain tests in February.
  • Mercedes schedules an initial W17 unveiling on Jan. 22 and a full online season launch on Feb. 2 featuring Toto Wolff, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli.
  • Audi will stage its works-team launch in Berlin on Jan. 20 after reporting its power unit ran in the chassis on Dec. 19, 2025.
  • McLaren has yet to announce a 2026 reveal date, while newcomer Cadillac targets a Feb. 8 livery debut during a Super Bowl advertisement.
