F1 25 Season Pack Adds Native PSSR2 and PS5 Pro Enhancements

Sony’s PSSR2 upscaling is being used to sharpen the game’s image and enable higher-frame and higher-resolution display targets on PS5 Pro.

Overview

  • The 2026 Season Pack will arrive as paid DLC on June 3, 2026 and introduces native PSSR/PSSR2 support alongside a 'PS5 Pro Enhanced' build.
  • Codemasters says PSSR2 will clean up the game’s internal rendering to deliver a noticeably sharper image across Quality, Performance, and Resolution modes.
  • On PS5 Pro Quality Mode will run with ray tracing at 60 fps, Performance Mode can reach 120Hz on compatible displays, and Resolution Mode targets 8K output.
  • The DLC also adds gameplay and content changes including the new Madring circuit, active aerodynamics, an Overtake mode, and expanded Career/My Team customization.
  • Codemasters is replacing a standalone 2026 full release with this Season Pack as it pauses the yearly cadence to rework the series for a redesigned 2027 game.
