F-Zero 99 Update Introduces Private Lobbies and Secret Tracks

The 1.2.0 update, free for all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, also increases the maximum level cap and skill rating.

F-Zero 99, Nintendo's battle royale, has received a 1.2.0 update that introduces private lobbies and secret tracks.
Private lobbies allow players to create or join their own private room from the main menu, with the room auto-populating with CPU players once the countdown timer ends.
Secret tracks titled '???' will randomly appear as players play online, featuring mash-ups of existing tracks and music.
The update also increases the maximum level cap to 399 and the maximum skill rating to S50.
The update is free for all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, and it's not locked behind the Expansion Pack tier of the subscription service.
