Extradited Woman Charged Over 2017 Murder of Jamie Tighe-Ennis Remanded in Custody

Prosecutors will seek a trial on indictment under organised-crime provisions, with bail applications confined to the High Court.

Overview

  • Ciara Nolan, 46, originally from Artane and living in Birmingham, was extradited from the UK under a Trade and Cooperation Agreement warrant and arrested at Dublin Airport before her first court appearance.
  • She is charged under Section 72 of the Criminal Justice Act 2006 with facilitating a criminal organisation in the commission of the murder between October 27 and 28, 2017, and she made no reply when charged.
  • Judge Treasa Kelly remanded her in custody to January 14, the Director of Public Prosecutions directed trial on indictment, a book of evidence has not yet been served, and free legal aid was granted.
  • Jamie Tighe-Ennis, 24, was shot twice in the head at about 2:20 a.m. on Moatview Avenue, Priorswood, and a stolen Audi A3 was later found partially burned in Finglas; he was the 14th victim of the Hutch–Kinahan feud.
  • Investigators previously arrested several people in 2018 who were released without charge, and in 2025 John Farrell, 59, was charged with enhancing a criminal organisation’s ability to commit the murder by procuring a car.
