Overview
- On July 11, the Water and Air Symphony and Ao and Night Rainbow Parade returned to Osaka/Kansai Expo’s Water Plaza after a 38-day halt
- The Japan International Exposition Association suspended the shows on June 4 following a Legionella detection and adopted daily water tests from June 16 that have since confirmed bacteria levels are within safety guidelines
- Daytime fountain performances now occur hourly between 11:00 and 16:00, with evening parades at 19:30 and 20:30
- In the Forest of Silence, the western artificial pond reopened on July 11 while the southern pond remains closed due to challenges managing chlorine concentrations
- Marubeni-operated flying car demonstration flights are set to resume on July 12, adding another major attraction back to the expo lineup
