Six workers sustained injuries, with one in serious condition, while others suffered burns, head trauma, and smoke inhalation.
The incident caused a fire that spread across 2,000 square meters in the industrial area before being extinguished by firefighters.
Rheinmetall reported no damage to production facilities and no expected production losses, emphasizing no signs of an attack.
The factory is part of Rheinmetall's global operations, which supply munitions and military equipment, including to Ukraine, a key customer.
