Explosion at Nagpur Aluminium Factory Claims Five Lives, Injures Eight

An explosion occurred on Friday in the polished tubing unit of MMP Aluminium Industries in Umred taluka, Nagpur district.
Five fatalities have been confirmed, including two workers who died in the hospital and three found deceased after the fire was partially controlled.
Eight individuals sustained injuries, with some reported to be in critical condition, and are receiving treatment at local hospitals.
The fire caused by the explosion remains uncontrolled as of Saturday morning, with fire crews continuing their efforts to extinguish it.
Authorities plan to launch an investigation into the incident once the site is deemed safe for entry.
