Expelled AIADMK Veteran Sengottaiyan Accuses EPS of Dynasty Politics

• Speaking to reporters at Coimbatore airport on November 3, K. A. Sengottaiyan alleged interference in party affairs by Edappadi K. Palaniswami’s son, brother-in-law and son-in-law.
• He said his recent outreach to ousted leaders O. Panneerselvam, T. T. V. Dhinakaran and V. K. Sasikala aimed to strengthen the AIADMK rather than divide it.
• Sengottaiyan indicated he would consult lawyers to challenge his October 31 expulsion, which followed his public appearance with the sidelined leaders.
• AIADMK leaders pushed back, with R. B. Udhayakumar calling him inconsistent and self-serving and another senior figure dismissing the family-interference charge as baseless and motivated.
• He has also called Palaniswami the “real traitor” and questioned his silence on the Kodanad murder case in earlier remarks following his removal.
