Brady's team presented credible allegations involving Hunter Biden that alarmed officials in FBI headquarters and required approval from at least 17 people before any action was taken.
Brady alleged the investigator team in Delaware, under special counsel David Weiss, demonstrated skepticism and weariness towards the information they were developing and was reluctant to share information with Brady's office.
Senator Chuck Grassley stated that more than 40 confidential sources provided the FBI with criminal information concerning the Biden family. Grassley accused the Justice Department and FBI of trying to discredit this information as foreign disinformation, thereby stalling or stopping investigation efforts.
A whistleblower revealed that the FBI's investigation into Hunter Biden's 'criminal financial and related activity' in 2020 was shut down based on false claims that it was subject to foreign disinformation. This claim was used to halt investigative activity.
