Ex-Patriots Player Patrick Pass Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting Elderly Man at Gym

Pass, a three-time Super Bowl champion, denies the allegations stemming from an argument over exercise equipment at a Rhode Island Planet Fitness.

Patrick Pass, 46, was arrested and charged with assaulting 82-year-old Juan Muriel at a Planet Fitness in North Providence on August 28.
The incident reportedly began as a dispute over gym equipment, with Pass allegedly pushing Muriel to the ground, resulting in back injuries for the elderly man.
Pass was released on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in court in January 2025.
Pass, who denies the allegations, has been barred from contacting Muriel and had his gym membership revoked by Planet Fitness.
The former NFL fullback was previously suspended from coaching in the Indoor Football League due to involvement in a brawl during a game in 2023.
