Overview

• The acid attack on 38-year-old Danny Cahalane occurred at his Lipson Road home in Plymouth on February 21 and resulted in his death on May 3.
• Six suspects, including Cahalane’s ex-partner Paris Wilson, have been charged with murder for allegedly orchestrating the attack with an organised crime group.
• All six appeared by video link at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on June 3, confirmed their identities and were remanded into custody.
• They will face a plea and trial preparation hearing on June 4, with a provisional trial scheduled for May 2026 at Winchester Crown Court.
• The investigation, codenamed Operation Lobpass, has been supported by the National Crime Agency, Metropolitan Police and Wiltshire Police.
