Ex-NSW Officer Expected to Enter Pleas in Baird–Davies Murder Case

  • Police allege he used his service Glock to kill the pair, placed their bodies in surfboard bags, and dumped them about 180km south-west of Sydney, where their remains were found on February 27, 2024.
  • An alleged sequence outlined by police includes gunshots on February 19, a hired Toyota HiAce, a trip to a Bungonia property with a woman, a stop in Newcastle to clean the van, and his arrest after he walked into Bondi police station on February 23.
  • His lawyer is Ben Archbold, the third to represent him, and he remains in custody after his dismissal from NSW Police in March 2024.
