Overview
- The alleged killing occurred on May 29 inside a Gray’s Inn Road office when 51-year-old Juan Francisco Toledo attacked his former partner during their cleaning shift
- Prosecutors say Toledo loaded Yajaira Castro Mendez’s body into a wheelie bin, transported it by car to the Bolderwood area and dumped it there, where it was found on June 7
- Toledo was arrested on June 4 and formally charged with Mendez’s murder on June 6 before being remanded into custody after appearing at the Old Bailey on June 10
