Ex-Juventus Chairman Andrea Agnelli Receives 16-Month Ban and Fine for Salary Manipulation

Former Juventus Chairman Andrea Agnelli has been banned from soccer for 16 months due to irregularities in the club's payments to players.
Prosecutors claim that only one month's salary was actually given up by the players, despite Juventus stating that 23 players agreed to reduce their salary for four months.
Agnelli was also fined €60,000.
He was involved in the failed European Super League project in 2021.
Agnelli resigned as Juventus chairman in November 2020 following a financial scandal.
