Ex-Husband Confesses to Fatal Shooting of Newlywed Couple in Florida

Sony Josaphat, who had recently divorced the female victim, is now facing two counts of first-degree murder.

Sony Josaphat, the ex-husband of the female victim, is accused of fatally shooting his ex-wife and her new husband, a week after their wedding.
The victims, identified as nurse Marcelline Racine and her husband, pastor Kerlande Williams, were installing surveillance cameras outside their home at the time of the shooting.
Josaphat had finalized his divorce with Racine just a month prior to the incident.
Josaphat turned himself in to the police shortly after the shooting and allegedly confessed to the crime.
Josaphat is now facing two counts of first-degree murder and is due back in court on January 8.
