Overview

• Surrey Police said emergency crews were called shortly after 6pm on August 20 to Waitrose on Esher High Street, where a woman in her 40s died despite paramedics' efforts.
• Her husband identified her as Wiyada “Lek” Pauline, 46, his wife of 22 years.
• He said she collapsed while shopping and that he plans to take her ashes to her family in Thailand.
• Police, the South East Coast Ambulance Service and the regional air ambulance attended, and the store and high street were temporarily closed before reopening.
• Authorities and the family have not confirmed a cause of death.
