• Cook County Judge Kenneth Wadas accepted the plea Friday and imposed consecutive terms of six years on each count involving minors and four years on two additional counts, totaling 20 years.
• David Deleon pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual abuse of a child by a person in a position of trust and aggravated criminal sexual abuse as prosecutors dismissed nearly two dozen other charges under the deal.
• Investigators reported phone evidence showing numerous juvenile males at his home, photos and videos documenting abuse, and online searches suggestive of predatory intent.
• Prosecutors said victims included a 14-year-old who met him at a police station and a 13-year-old he encountered after arresting the child’s parent, with recordings spanning late 2021 to early 2023.
• The case began with a 2023 Norridge arrest and was taken over by the sheriff’s ICAC unit; Deleon has been jailed since August 2023 with 798 days’ credit, ordered to provide DNA and an STD test, and is no longer with the department.
